Our VORN Community is open to anyone interested in future-proofing the fashion and textile industry, actively working for change themselves, and looking to become more sustainable within their production and structures. It is a place for learning and teaching, as the exchange of expertise, research results and learnings from within the community are shared for the community. VORN is an ever-growing, self-nurturing ecosystem of a progressive industry that, through networking, can join forces and bring change to VORN in a sustainable, yet economically successful way.
Our concept of a profitably operating community is filling a vacuum in the fashion industry - as evidenced not only by our governmental mandate from the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises. It's also proven by the first notable members of our VORN community, who we'd like to introduce to you in more detail here.
With Estethica, Fashion Revolution Germany e.V. and Beneficial Design Institute, three important players already belong to our community. The core of their work lies in innovation-driven reorientation towards sustainable action, interdisciplinary networking of the industry, closed-loop and circular design approaches, and activist educational work. They have all worked closely with VORN's founding team in the past and bring concentrated expertise and an exquisite international network to the community.
The digital platform for circular economy, Save Your Wardrobe, the strategy consultancy Rebound Stuff and the full-service distribution company Goodlabels GmbH are three companies characterized by expertise, knowledge, and internationality.
They have their fingers on the pulse of industry and infrastructure when it comes to implementing greater sustainability and circularity. Their experience and expertise are a significant added value they provide to our community.
Sustainability and digitalization are a true dream team. Fashion For Biodiversity Solutions, or FFBS for short, starts exactly there. FFBS is a blockchain-based cloud solution that provides traceability of textile raw materials from retail to resource origin. The seamless display allows companies to measure their own impact on biodiversity and tailor solutions accordingly.
With Staiy, Dawn Denim, #Damur, Lebenskleidung, Aforaworld and Moot, we welcome established and dedicated labels, wholesalers* and marketplaces joining us with a strong infrastructure and pooled knowledge around manufacturing, design, circular economy and distribution.
The ecosystem of the VORN community already represents the versatility of the sustainable industry and movement, is constantly growing and will decisively change the view on and the fashion industry itself.
