Are you a knitwear label or brand with a focus on knitwear, based in Berlin or the surrounding area? Then we need you!

We are currently planning to set up a Microfactory with a focus on knitwear in the heart of Berlin for the development and production of prototypes and unique items, as well as for production in very small quantities. This is why we are currently preparing a feasibility study. Part of it is a market evaluation based on a survey, specifically aiming at brands that:

• are based in Berlin or are located in logistically reasonable proximity

• are interested in carrying out their product development, sample or one-off production in the vicinity of their target markets- 

• already offer knitwear or are planning to do so in the future

• work with high-quality materials

• are innovation-oriented and/or sustainability-oriented

• may already be working with „Knit & Wear“ and / or „Fully Fashioned“ knitting processes

• are in the price segment of Premium / Premium Plus / Affordable Luxury / Luxury

We want to get to know your needs. By taking part in our study, you will have the opportunity to actively shape our service in the form of a Microfactory, because your feedback will be directly incorporated into the planning and execution of our offer. In cooperation with the Fashion Council Germany and PLATTE Berlin, we will present the concept of the Microfactory during this event, provide background information and be available to answer your questions.

Afterwards, you will receive a digital questionnaire in which we will ask you about your needs and wishes for a Microfactory location in Berlin. We would be very pleased if you can support us with your time and feedback.
